It’s summer!!  Well, almost… and what better way to celebrate warmer weather than, “Let’s Go Fishing Day.”  So pull out your poles and grab bate your hooks… hop into a little row boat and fish the day away! Maybe you’ll see my buddy Ben Sargent out there! Keep an eye out for his new book, The Catch, designed by yours truly.

Remember when your parents got a new fridge, and you turned that cardboard box into a space ship? Blast off!!!! Well, if you were going to do it again, today would be your day! What better way to celebrate Astronaut Day?  “One small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.” -Neil Armstrong.

December 28th is Card Playing Day! Cards have always played an important part of my family and personal life. I had an old boyfriend enjoyed cards and gambling so whenever we went out for dinner we always brought a deck of cards and played for the check.

Will be selling at Artists & Fleas this weekend 10am-7pm Saturday and Sunday the 22nd and 23rd for all you last minute shoppers like myself!

Dirty Bandits will be at the Degenerate Craft Fair this weekend from 12-9pm on saturday and 11-7pm on Sunday. Dumbo Lofts at 155 Water Street in Dumbo Brooklyn, F to York Street. Come say hi and get loads of discounts!

To this day, great finds at thrift stores has been one of my mother’s most impressive talents. There is little that you can compliment her on that isn’t immediately replied to with a very prideful declaration of how much she got it for at a thrift store. July 27th is Take Your Houseplants for a Walk Day!

Whatever way you choose to do this, get your plants outside and for a little trip around the block. I got some lovely new little plants from Skinny Skinny in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I made a treasury on Etsy of other plant based goodies - check it out!
