I did a sketch at Sketch Tuesday at 111 Minna Gallery of this and it was mighty fun, so I did it again at home and digitized it and posted on Society 6.

It’s summer!!  Well, almost… and what better way to celebrate warmer weather than, “Let’s Go Fishing Day.”  So pull out your poles and grab bate your hooks… hop into a little row boat and fish the day away! Maybe you’ll see my buddy Ben Sargent out there! February 28th International Pancake Day!

This day is on the calendar for my friend Sam. For whatever ails you, she’ll make room for you on her purple couch with a plate full of pancakes. Today, however I am venturing off of her couch in search of pancakes at my favorite breakfast spot of all time, Clinton Street Baking Co.

January 24th TV Game Show Day!

When I was a kid my favorite thing about staying home from school when I was sick was getting to watch Family Feud. Well, no that’s not true, my favorite thing was Dimetapp, which I thought was liquid candy!

May is National Photo Month

April is International Guitar Month

March is Adopt a Rescued Guinea Pig Month

There are many places you can go to check for local, lonely guinea pigs like Dandy & Static. They are one year old male guinea pigs that were born in the rescue. Their moms came from a roadside pet zoo that shut down October 2008.

February is Return Shopping Carts to the Supermarket Month

Over 2 million shopping carts go missing each year. This info comes from the US Census Bureau who actually declared this holiday! We all have 2.3 kids and .8 shopping carts… so return the carts, keep the kids.

This month is all about staying inside where it is warm and toasty and working on those projects you’ve been scheming up for the last year.
