It’s National Electricity Day!!!  What would we have done with out Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Edison?  Who doesn’t love electricity!!! So create some friction of your own today!  Put on some wooly socks and shuffle across a carpet and shock a friend   . 

It’s summer!!  Well, almost… and what better way to celebrate warmer weather than, “Let’s Go Fishing Day.”  So pull out your poles and grab bate your hooks… hop into a little row boat and fish the day away! Maybe you’ll see my buddy Ben Sargent out there! Keep an eye out for his new book, The Catch, designed by yours truly.

Remember when your parents got a new fridge, and you turned that cardboard box into a space ship? Blast off!!!! Well, if you were going to do it again, today would be your day! What better way to celebrate Astronaut Day?  “One small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.” -Neil Armstrong.

What more could you want out of a Saturday? Did you say Leisure Suits? Well, here ya go!!! It’s “Leisure Suit Saturday”!!! Dust off your suit and hit the town, cause tonight you’re gonna boogie down. You look good in that suit too, don’t you? If John Travolta can do it, so can you.

January 23rd is “Answer your Cat’s Questions Day.”  When I think of this day, I’m reminded of Ryk (pronounced Rick) - a giant house cat that I used to live with in San Francisco.  Because of his girth, he was known to me as Rick Ross.  All day long he would cry and beg for food.  Ryk’s only question was, “Is that for me?”  Let’s all celebrate our cats’ and truly listen… what’s your cat’s question today? 

December 28th is Card Playing Day! Cards have always played an important part of my family and personal life. I had an old boyfriend enjoyed cards and gambling so whenever we went out for dinner we always brought a deck of cards and played for the check.
