August 17th is Thrift Store Day!

To this day, great finds at thrift stores has been one of my mother’s most impressive talents. There is little that you can compliment her on that isn’t immediately replied to with a very prideful declaration of how much she got it for at a thrift store. July 27th is Take Your Houseplants for a Walk Day!

Whatever way you choose to do this, get your plants outside and for a little trip around the block. I got some lovely new little plants from Skinny Skinny in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I made a treasury on Etsy of other plant based goodies - check it out!
